A few moments with Diana
You know, in all these many years, I have never read an article or comment where anyone said, "I can't stand Diana Rigg, she gets on my nerves" or "That Mrs Peel was a phony, I never thought she was cool." I don't know what it is but Diana as Emma seems to be a combination of actor and role that works for everyone.

I would like to add how very good Patrick Macnee was as Steed, he does not get enough credit to my thinking. Those seasons with Steed and Mrs Peel remain so fresh and charming because of the chemistry between them (well, that and the fine writing, directing, and guest stars). But the show would never work as well if either role had been played by a different actor. Just my opinion, but there it is.
