Well, it has been a while since I last wrote here, hasn't it? I have been trying to find a way to describe what I am thinking, so writing it out here may alow me to find the proper words. This new mode of thinking may be obvious, or perhaps even instinctual to most; however, you know how I am about these sort of things.
I think that I have found a hybrid version of my idealistic societal vision and reality. In my idealistic society - in short - people associate and share each other based entirely on the character of their partners. The main shortcomming of this practice is that getting to know each other well enough to elevate to the next level is a long process that requires two matching people to be in close enough proximity for long periods of time. And, in reality we will reach a point where we want it to be at the next level, and only think that we know as much as we do. Also, we then are left with the expectation that the other will have mutual desire. This was the case with the Lost Endeavour. However, to even suggest this as a possibilty would require the overwhelming majority of people to subscribe to thise belief, and adapt accordingly. Plus, I am not sure that the majority of people are intelligent enough to recognize the difference between wanting to be near someone and wanting to be in someone. Rather, we are a sexual society. The odd thing here is that, at least in this country, that we try to cover it up. The cover up is in part the fault of the FCC. We can thank our Supreme Court for endorsing the FCC, because the ruled that only printed media is protected by the First Amendment, and that other forms of media do not fall under the protection of Free Speach. Maybe you remember that during the 90s members of the Clinton administration tried to have porn removed from the internet. But all that is another issue. The point is that culturally we all think the same things, more or less. We all participate in self-stimulation when other options are not available. And culturally we make our pre-judgements of a person based upon anothers looks, before anything else. So, if we wish to be a sexual society, then we should throw down these masks and politely express how we really feel. If a good looking girl/guy/it walks up to you, you should be able to feel perfectly comfortable telling them how good they look and that you would be willing to bet sleeping with them would be enjoyable. What do you think would happen if I were to walk up to someone and say, "you know, you are a gorgious person, and there are many a night that I have self-stimulated with your image in my eye." Now, that was not necessarily dirty, no details were presented, and it is a given that everyone that you have ever met has done the deed to someone. Do you think I would get very far? Shouldn't it be a strong compliment that I would take the time, that I would recall her image; afteral, we are a sexual society. The fact is that the framework of this side of society is makeshift and therefore does not entirely make sense.
Now, as for the hybrid realization. The long term exposure method is not even an option at this level. There are presious few places where this can work, one was high school (but that has passed, thank goodness), the other is an office or something of the kind. However, more and more companies are forcing employees to sign non-fraternizing contracts that extend into the hours beyond the work day. This is a disgusting infringement upon the individuals rights, and this could be avoided with tort reform, but that is also another issue. So, the object is to alow for observations of prospects based upon every category, including beauty and sexuality. Yes, beauty and sexual attractiveness are two different things, something that most people don't understand. A beautiful person is someone that is almost like an artform (and believe me, if there is meaning this will change in your eye. After the Lost Endeavour was lost, She looked entirely different than before, and at first I thought she was a different person.) Sexual attractiveness is self explanatory. This is the foundation of the hybrid, all that which was important before is still of primary importance, but the addition of attractiveness alows for certain advantages. One, it allows you to satisfy primal urges that would otherwise get in the way of a finding something meaningful. And two, it fits well into society's current program. In essence, it is a personal acceptance of the fact that guidelines based on attraction are in place, and that they may be manipulated through the mind's eye. This basic idea has allowed me to get farther than under the previous methodology. Later I will provide the details of what I mean.
