When it comes to surgical cases and deciding how to run my OR, yes. Absolutely, I am. I don't think that it's unreasonable to want to sedate a patient that has to undergo surgery. Below the knee. It's a fairly simple procedure and one I've done many times, Alex. However, in this case it was supposed to only be a couple of toes...until we got in there and took a look at the soft tissue.

And no, Dr. Rasgotra rightly pointed out that the tissue was healthy. The disease had moved into the tarsle...the bones in her foot.

This woman waited well over a year to do something about an injury that had not healed. If she had acted sooner, she probably would not have even lost a toe.
