ようこそ！ 日本へ！
皆さん、久しぶりですね！
So I know a lot of you are already getting my mass emails and such, but I felt that I should also chronicle my year in Japan in lj form as well. I will have to figure out how to make it private though...just in case I say anything that people might find and incriminate me with....heh.
So basicallly, I feel tired. Tired and surprisingly bored at the moment. I am at school but it`s summer break so there is NOTHING to do. I have no inkan (name stamp) so I can`t sign any official documents....meaning i can`t get internet....a cell phone....a car....a bank account most importantly. I`m like some kind of hobo gaijin drifter. (Yeah okay, I have a house so that`s totally not true, but still, lolz.)
Also...JAPAN IZ HAWT. And I mean sweat running down your nose from two minutes outside hot. And HUMID. I`m coping with it as best I can, but because I am a chotto FUTOTTEIRU....it`s hard for me. Though I think I`m losing weight. Probably because I`m living on fruits and veggies and ready-made-from-nature-type foods. I`m lazy and lonely and I don`t want to cook, lol.
Ok, complaining 終わり！ At least people are nice. SUPER nice. Everything I do is jouzu and it`s actually kind of embarassing.
Funny things so far include:
LUCKY CIDER! (It`s not as good as Mitsuya Cider but the words are rainbow and it randomly has a dolphin on it.) With KiraKira SPARKLE! ::direct quote from bottle::
Only being able to buy peanut butter at the IMPORT FOOD STORE XD These people don`t know how to live.
McDonalds. Yeah, it`s true, they`re everywhere. even in this podunk rice farming town. And there`s a freaky Ronald Mcdonald sitting on the bench `with you` in front.
One of my elementary schools has 11 students. TOTAL. And there are 12 staff members. Those kids are getting way too much attention. XD
Okay....at 11am everyday there`s like a DEAFENING siren that goes off throughout the town. And when people wondered why I was freaked out I told them....Well, that siren happens when we have tornadoes back home. And everyone laughed at me...0.o But then at 12 noon....the same system plays....Adelweiss (sp?). I`m not even kidding. Of all the songs. Everytime I hear it I think of how Amy told me that that song alone can make her parents weep. Good times.
I bought a draining board for my sink!!!! Weird how the random indoor ouhouse toilet doesn`t bother me, but the fact that I had nowhere to dry my DISHES? HELLZ NO! What am I? A SAVAGE?
Okay, that`s probably enough. In my free time I`ve been hanging out with Leigh and replaying Tales of the Abyss....thanks a lot Jen-chan -.- Oh P.S. I miss you and Amy and Alyson tons. It`s been far too long since I`ve talked to my imouto-tachi. Wow, I have 3 little sisters now. LUCKY-KIIII!!!
P.P.S. Jen-chan plz to be telling me cool crap to eat\do in Kansai area...kthxbai.
