In less than 15 hours, he and Kaylee will be leaving in shuttle two. Take away two to three hours for last minute packing and loading of said shuttle, and that leaves only 12 hours for him and his beloved to spend in a blissful haze of love and each other ( Read more... )

Not long after that, the sound of the door being opened and the soft, happy humming of Kaylee can be heard as she entered the room. Though once she was down the ladder enough to see the room, her face falls into awe as she looks around. Needless to say, the humming was replaced with a open-mouthed gasp and yes, she is still on the ladder. Simon may have to go fetch her.

Simon turns to see her, and chuckles at her expression. He does walk up to her, grabbing her gently and lifting her off the ladder and setting her down.

He drops a kiss on her nose. "I thought we could get some alone-time in before we left," he whispers, nuzzling her neck softly.

She giggles softly as the nuzzling tickles her neck and hugs him close. "Then its a good thing I finished fixin' Serenity, huh?" she teases.

"Hmmmvery good," he intones. "And I've left all my orders with those that need them, and all my patients can be left in the care of others."

His hands find hers and he's pulling away so he can lead her into the room. "And once our two weeks are up, I've invited the rest of them to join us, since I think we all need a break and a chance to get off-ship."

Kaylee's beaming brightly. "Oh that's wonderful! Than my folks c'n meet River too!" she says with excitement.

Kaylee nods smiling. "Cap an' Daddy got along great first time they met. Why Daddy agreed t'let me fly wit'Serenity. He knew Cap would take care of me."

Well, he decides on the feeding her thing, since it's a light dinner which means high probability of finger-food things, so, um, yes. Feeding Kaylee dinner. Kneeling in front Kaylee, feeding her dinner.

No, this isn't a kink thing. It's a total love and devotion thing.

And it would seem Kaylee knew the difference because in between bites, she would pause to feed him. Slow, gentle movements. Fullied with love and remembering.
