Much praise goes to Corpsicle for their mind-bending performance last night. Some people loved it. Some people hated it. But everyone was moved and shaken by the intense nature of it. Nothing interesting and creative is going to be appreciated or enjoyed by everyone. But to make an impact of such magnitiude is a huge success. I feel putting Corpsicle on stage was the best thing to have come from Corrosion.
Sorry to all those who felt he was on too late, in 'prime dancing time'. I actually thought it was early, and having the dancing music start at eleven was a suitable time. I'll remember that for the future. Brisburn people just seem to operate on an earlier time scale. I'll keep you out till dawn yet!
Tre and Mason both excelled themselves on the decks. Fresh, lively and pumping. But the music needed bass. Big bass. And so it shall be.
Free entry before ten? I was thinking if we had 20-30 people in by ten it would be a great start. But no, we had over 60. That was just awesome.
It was fantastic to hear that so many people had a brilliant time and to prove that we still have a scene up here. It won't be on next month, but there is another industrial event in september you'll all be hearing of about now. I'm going to really enjoy going along and not being responsible for anything but myself.
