Ah, I’m not the best with public speaking so I’ll make this brief. I think the last time I offered a lecture I was talking to a group of biochemists in Amsterdam. I also had the misfortune of being completely out of my head (thanks to a hash brownie) and speaking with a terrible faux French accent. I’ll spare all of you that, okay?
I’m the current chief of surgery at Cook County General Hospital in Chicago. I specialize in trauma surgery though in the last year I have headed up a remarkable transplant program at County. I’m quite proud of it. Let’s see, the pertinent facts: I’ve been an attending physician for the past fifteen years (I completed a fellowship at Johns Hopkins), I believe in the use of alternative medicine to further the healing that Western medicine tries to provide (yoga is amazing, you should try taking a class some time), and I enjoy mentoring my students and residents.
Um, I’m an avid reader and I play field hockey in my free time…I also feel a bit ridiculous standing here telling you all this. I have…rounds. Yeah, rounds and patients to check on so I’ll be going now.
OOC: I’m going to try to keep Dubenko as canon-compliant as possible but he is open to role-play for any muses who don’t mind a socially-inept guy hanging around.
