Wow...things are spinny
man, talk about eventful.
Things are really starting to go full blast on all fronts. Just finished installing my piece for the SHAPE exhibit. It was strange though. I ran into a lot of issues making mine, and I was going in rather cringing, thinking everyone else's was going to be so much better than mine. But when I got in, the end result of everyone's was.. underwhelming *note project runway reference*.
Not like I mind, simply because that meant my piece was stronger than some, but it almost made me.. mad? I dunno.. it seems like that class is sort of not being taken as seriously. I lay that claim as a guilty party myself. I just want to demolish my next assignment, and really prove that I'm here to knock around some skulls. :p
This weekend was supervisor training. It was really cool. And hectic... my butt hurts from all the sitting. But, I'm very glad I went. I had discussed this, but the moment I will take with me from that weekend and will hold on to for a long time was the first project out, the group I was in declared me the "leader".. it was sort of that moment where I really went "Hells yeah I can do this.." Total awesomeness...
A friend of mine who I haven't seen since freshmen year just sat down and talked to me. That was really cool. She is awesome. Bella, you rock.
Ok.. time to go and do stuff. I have about three other art exhibits I'm sumbitting/creating artwork in, and two other art exhibits I have to crash. Awesomeness? Not really.. time to put my "I give a crap" face and talk to people about things we both don't know anything about.. simply to give off the idea we both know what "art" is... bollocks.
