(no subject)
It's an uncomfortably hot night. I've just put a white chocolate, coconut, pistachio and cranberry slice into the fridge to set. I'm trying to get ready to leave for Lynt's family's place tomorrow. First, we're going into the city to show the kids the christmas windows and maybe go to Federation Square and see what christmassy stuff they have on there. And we're meeting David for lunch. I'm going to have to pack my fudge and slice into a bag with an ice pack, as they'll melt to a big splodgy mess if I leave them in the car.
Lots of pressies to wrap tonight. I was up until 1am wrapping them last night, and then Raphie had an unusually wakeful night. So buggered today, and have rushed and rushed.
Called over to see Maia briefly in the late afternoon. Saw her pretty house and felt the way she's made it into her own space in ways that the last house never was. And i met her gorgeous cats. Finn wants them both to come and live with us, and says that if Moussie fights with them, well, she can go to live with Maia, can't she? LOL.
I'll probably post again later tonight, but just in case I don't get the chance, do have a beautiful xmas, all of you, and if you can't quite manage that, I hope you at least find a beautiful moment for yourself somewhere in the midst of the chaos.
I won't be back until a few days after xmas.
