The game of Fridgeman

I am sat at home waiting for the fridge man to fix our fridge, which broke down at perhaps the least opportune moment. Rather than being with my wife and daughter (who are in hospital until feeding is established) I am sat here trying to explain the rules of cricket to cardinalsin. She has a wireless laptop. But I fear such things interfere with critical hospital equipment. She gets hospicom, for which the internet costs one pound a day. Unfortunately, the BBC is about the only useful site allowed: no LJ. No search engines. Anything that might have porn (or other non-kiddie friendly stuff) on is barred.

If she could view a translation engine she might be able to see LJ via a weird partial translation. Problem is the ones I can think of are with search engines...

There's also Harrie, Hettie and Ettie. The number of possible shortenings was definitely one of the advantages of the name. So she can pick her own when she's old enough.
