Scripts
I know I haven't written to you in a while, journal. Things have been rather, well, things. And situations have been situating themselves. In my decision to write a better quality script, I came across a gigantic writer's block, and thought it might help to read some books on script writing. All the books I've found have mixed reviews, and I haven't found one that really sits you down with tons of examples like so many books about drawing comics do. It seems that writing them is a secret art. I say that's bull puckey. I've decided to just sit down and start writing as often as possible, and damn refined writing. That's what rough drafts are for.
So often I try to make my finished product before roughing it in. I like to work it out in my head first, but the problem is there isn't enough room to work it out in my head alone. Sometimes you just have to look at it in front of you, and think, "this is shit."
