The Best 147-Page FEC Financial Report EVER
The Colbert Super PAC, Americans for a Better Tomorrow, Tomorrow filed its financial report with the FEC at midnight, and simultaneously put it online for the world to see.
Aside from confirmation that donations were made under both the names "Pat Magroin" and "Ibin Yerkinov," there were a couple of revelations that made my night, day, and week:
1. Bradley Whitford donated more than $200 to the PAC.
2. So did Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom, or as I call him, Mayor Prettyhair
Yes.
Just fucking YES.
I am so proud that my $5 has intermingled with their monies. Almost as proud as when I saw my name on the "heroes" scroll.
(In fairness to other famous people, Laura San Giacomo of "Just Shoot Me" and "Pretty Woman" also donated, but that's not as interesting to me, personally)
