This will probably be the last topic I leave for you, since we will begin reading literature this week, and you should be able to create your own topics from now on. But, before I turn you loose to create your own topics, I need you to do one thing for me:
What film should I use to replace Stranger Than Fiction when I teach ENGL 1302 next spring? The film should have literary merit, so I need you to convince me that the film you propose has it. You need to tell me more than "I liked it," or "It has Johnny Depp in it, so I'm sure you will like it." It's okay if the movie isn't popular; it just has to have that deeper, universal meaning we've been talking about.
