I was in my first true cycling race today. I did just the team time trial. We finished, got 11th out of either 14 or 15. We could've do a lot better. We lost a lot of time at the beginning because of a poorly marked turn, and then the last climb killed one of our riders. Considering I barely trained, I did fine. I could've pushed harder on the last hill but it would've been pointless because Chris couldn't make it. I'm happy with the choice I made to pull back and try to pull him up the hill, but it didn't work.
Had a good time overall though.
