springgg break!
this year for spring break, we went up to pittsburgh to see mo[n]. they got a new apartment, and it is very nice, def. a little bit bigger than their old one. hehe. anyway, they have furnished the place well, and baby furniture is all around. so i drove a good way up to pittsburgh, and i did ok. my dad said i did a good job. so we had a wonderful first night seder and baby didn't cry at all. which was a pleasant surprise. :-) Then the next day we did something oh yeah synagogue, then had burgers for dinner which were quite yummy, i might say. and me and mo made some goooooooood guacamole! (better than rachel ray any day)! hehe. Parents stayed around for a few more days and then left sunday, easter sunday. then we basically moseyed around the rest of sunday. baby was a little whinny but not too bad. then monday me and mon went shopping, which was extra fun. she bought me this fun. cute makeup kit thing, which i plan to use. hehe. and then i bought myself so super cute shoes, they have a little heal so yeah i look quite a bit taller, not a bad thing. lol. then wed. i baby-sat while mon went off to the doc's office. baby wasn't that bad, but i did have to hold her the whole time. after around like idk 5 she started getting really colicky and from like 7-10 she was crying bloody murder, moshe called the doctor while i held her, i basically was doing a dance by the time she was quiet, because she is a i love movement baby. i went to bed pretty late that night, and the next day it was flying time. fun, huh? ok so i left from pittsburgh, i saw the big t-rex, it was cute. the flight to atl wasn't that bad except for a quick bought of turbulence and a bumpy landing. i got a nice window seat, with no one in the middle and a guy in the aisle seat. he was weird. all he had with him was a notebook and sunglasses. he seemed like one of those im too cool and too hot for anyone. he went to the bathroom and came back sweating profusely, gross. anyway he put in his speakers and was like dancing in his seat and bobbing his head and stuff i couldn't help but laugh. anyway, i get to atl. find what terminal my connection will be at and then get a quick snack/lunch. while walking towards the restaurant i thought i saw my 6th grade teacher ( i did a double take), i figured if it was her she would be on my plane and i can check when i get back. so yeah i got my food, and came back and sure enough it was her, we had a nice chat about her kids, my life, her life. hehe. well anyway, our flight was running late coming in, boo. so we weren't expecting to get on the plane until like 2:20 or expected departure time was orig. 2:09. so anyway, then a weather delay came, double the stupid. and as some of you might have heard there was a bomb threat in the atl airport, yeah i got suck in that. so our plane was delayed even more. gross. so yeah, we didn't manage to take off until like 4ish i think, i didn't really care. my seat partner this time was a pretty large guy, but he was nice. anyway, we got stuck in a heck load of turbulence coming out of atl, and it pretty much evened out once we got to "cruising altitude." when we went over the james river i was so happy cause i knew it would only be like 2 more second until we landed, i was just so tired or travailing by that point. anyway, im happy to be home, but i miss the baby and mo and mon. i look forward to seeing them in june and everyone else. :-)
