Photography stall, yay!

Oct 22, 2007 22:59

Well it's been a month in the making, but I finally setup my photography stall at the Fishermans Warf markets (at Port Adelaide, by the lighthouse).

I've got a stall on the 2nd floor, by the lighthouse end, about 5 stalls back from the face painter.
At the moment I've got a basic studio setup, with a white paper backdrop and some standard strobes shooting into a silver umbrella.

I'm using my fairly expensive pocket wizards for wireless triggering, and my laptop plus my Canon IP4200 printer.

Actually I realised I'm almost a walking Canon advert. I've got my Canon 400D camera with 17-85mm IS lens, with an attached Canon 580ex Speedlight, and print on a Canon printer using genuine Canon ink and paper, and I've also got a Canon XL1 video camera.

Maybe I should get a job in advertising.

Anyway, obligatory photos.

Caption : This was taken at the stall, I then played with it in Potatoshop, and no, his eyes aren't blue, they are actually a brown.

Caption : Just a general shot of the stall with the flash lights going off. As you can see I've stopped down the ambient light quite a lot.

Caption : A girl that was working at the nearby stall, I used her to testing the lighting levels, set the camera, etc..
