Back again...

I'm seriously not good about writing in here and keeping this journal up to date. But as I write this I am more than likely a happier person than when I last wrote. Leaving my job as a docent was the best thing ever for me. Currently I am a substitute teacher and a kumon center assistant. Both have me working with kids but are much more enjoyable. Subbing for a school year also taught me a lot and really helped me to see where I fit in and where I do my best. For example I work better in elementary school, than middle. Middle School is tough. (Yet I am a friend/mentor to the ones at my church, but they are a good bunch) I had my bumpy rough road days and my smooth walk in the park days. And I still want to teach art! But what I don't get is the state telling me that I have to get myself hired as an art teacher when I don't have a license? Explain that one. Then when I looked at my transcript of what I needed to take and what I had taken, it ironed out to me needing three classes in 3D art. I didn't get that one either...but maybe it's true? We'll see.

More on that at a later date. :-)
