Reached my goal to get my application to Sub Teach in my hometown out this week. Or rather I will, it will be faxed out tomorrow and my referrences sent next week. Even though the application was pretty straight forward it took some doing to get it finished and ready. Thank goodness for scratch copies. Haven't decided yet if I want to send one more letter to a school in Fairfax County or not.
I did get an email last night about a cool job here in DC. Discovery Creek Children's Museum was one I hadn't heard about before at all. They have this trailer called a Rolling Rainforest that travels around and such. It would be teaching ages 3-11, which would be right up my alley. I am considering applying for it as I've got nothing to lose there.
As for other things my day was nice, the weather was actually a tad chilly and there wasn't humidity in the air. It's been so gastly hot that today's weather was a switch. I see it's going to be cool tomorrow too and rainy. Goodness knows we need the rain here badly.
Looking forward to the weekend and getting some more stuff done. Sunday I'm off to see Beauty and the Beast (Musical Stage Show) which I've waited years to see. A friends of mine is going with me and both of us are excited. Can't wait.
