So, this weekend has been amazing. Friday, I hung out with Derek, Alex and Nathan. Almost died when Nathan took the long way to Bardstown Road and turned the wrong way down a one-way street. Then I bought my drumset (Green Pearl Export Series, I'll have pictures soon) and hung out with Carmen. Spent the night at Nathans.
Saturday went to Bardstown Road again. Nathan is as bad at driving as he is at giving directions. I dont know how, but we ended up by Shively. A 20-minute trip took almost an hour. Went to the benefit show, which was good. Teddy is a good songwriter, Telescope are all amazing musicians. August Moon did good, probably because there weren't too many noise solos (I love you Jake) and Harry Pickens alone was worth it. The only "drama" was when this girl I don't like but an too nice to tell to go away called and invited me to Easterns' Homecoming. I asked Allie to forbid me from going, but she said she didn't care. So, when I called her back, Nathan wanted the phone. When he got he said (and I quote) "Zak's too much of a pussy to tell you this, but he thinks your fat and busted and doesn't want to hang out with you. Now go pour your sorrows into some chocolate cake." and hung up. Then I tried to explain to Aric, and he said she was pretty broken up about it. I got an angry voice mail threatening to cut my dick off.
Sunday, got more drum stuff and traded in my old drum kit. Went to Nathans again, for the Kronks New Groove party, and had a blast. We turned out all the lights and got under a blanket and read one of those choose-your-own-ending Goosebumps books. Watched the Pokemon movie, and tried to explain the concept of Pokemon to Meagan and Mary-Kate.
Monday was band practice and laying around watchin the CSI marathon at Nathans house.
Time to sleep.
