Borders Down For the Count

I'm saddened to hear that my local Borders Stores will be amongst the ones closing.   There once was a time when both B.Dalton and Walden books had placement in my local mall.  They weren't large stores but they had a good number of books that I wanted to read when I went there.  Only a couple of years ago they closed down the small store and opened the two story Borders in the mall.  Sure they had a lot of books that I'd read, but rarely the ones I wanted.

I think they only finally started getting books that I wanted regularly about a year ago.  And now they are going.

Not fair.

Perhaps it means I need to travel the extra ten minutes and go to the library.
