I thought I'd blog.
I'm sitting here waiting for the new Michael Moore film Sicko to finish uploading. It's taking forever. Fie on thee, slow internet! I'm 46 minutes into the movie though, and it's really good.
Last night was fun. Me, Nich, Jeff, Rocio, Caitlin and Nathan hung out at Nich's apartment and ate pizza and drank beer. Well...actually, Jeff and I drank beer, and then I made Jeff do shots, and 3 beers in I passed out on the carpet in the middle of the South Park movie. Boy, was I drunk.
This morning I gave my dad his Father's Day gift, which was a 4.0 GB flash hard drive. His iMac is on the fritz, so I figure he would need something to back up his stuff onto. And since he's not a big multimedia fiend like I am--I am currently using 40 GB on my computer--I figure 4.0 GB will do the trick. He liked it. :)
Work was busy. Lots of big parties at the restaurant. I got off of work and took the most delicious nap ever, waking up at 7:00pm. Ate some Chinese food from Panda Express (blechh) and now here I am waiting for this movie to finish loading.
I'm excited though! After I get off of work tomorrow, I'm heading down to Fullerton and I'm meeting Nich's mom for the first time ever! She's here on a sad occasion however. Her uncle (Nich's Great Uncle Willard) died last week. So there's going to be a funeral in Glendora, and she's staying at Nich's until Tuesday. We're going to go out to dinner tomorrow night, so I'm really looking forward to that. :)
Boo, Google Video Player, boo. 2 hours 30 minutes until there is uninterrupted playback.
That makes me a sad panda.
Oh well.
Oh, good news!! I shot off an e-mail to Larry Peters (my advisor) regarding my C- grade in Costume Design. He said the following:
Well...
Alas, a C- is not a passing grade. If you can wait until I get back into the office, I will see what we can do to keep you from having to take costume for a 3rd (yikes) time. Forget about it for a couple of months.
The weather in Sydney is cold and wet, but being with my family is warm and fuzzy.
