Famous people went to the museum and the museum was filled with people because of the said painter. The place shone for the dresses of the visitors were indeed expensive. Everyone was glad to see the paintings especially Mr. Yabu who was also there to hear and brag everyone’s comments about his works. It’s Works because he knew that the famous painter just painted one so he painted many to over the paint that was in the middle. The paint that the famous painter painted
The paint was located in the middle while Mr. Yabu’s paints are scattered at the sides. Yes, many did praise Yabu’s works but he failed to cover the one that was in the middle. Many guest stayed at the middle to look at the masterpiece that was painted perfectly and majestically.
“He’s back! Oh my gosh!” one guest said after reading the painter’s name.
“As perfect as his face!”
“Perfectly painted!”
“Can’t wait for tomorrow’s auction!”
“I’ll spend a billion just for that I swear!”
Those praises made Mr. Yabu angry inside. He wanted to break the painting but he couldn’t. He just tried to calm himself by saying, “It’s just for today, tomorrow you won’t see it.”

“Why didn’t you come?” Mr. Yabu angrily asked.
“It doesn’t matter.” Kota said preparing himself for the stealing event.
Seeing his son ready himself cooled him down. “Good job my son.”
Yabu Kota wore a black t-shirt and jeans and hid his face using a black mask so no one could see his face. As his guidance and the reason why he’s doing this he wears the necklace though it gives him two reasons: his childhood friend and Kei. Lastly, he wore gloves so he would totally look invisible.
---OFFICE OF THE MUSEUM---
“Ok I understand, anyway thank you,” the guy who managed the paintings said and sighed heavily.
“It’s already midnight, let’s go home. We shouldn’t be stressed for tomorrow’s event.” His co-worker offered.
He gave a deadly stare at his co-worker and when his co-worker didn’t get what he meant he explained. “The painter will get his paint tonight and he’s on his way here now. So I’ll have to wait for him.”
“Then if you’re really dying to go home, why don’t you just text him that you’ll put the key somewhere unseen and let him get it by himself? That’s if it’s fine with him…”
“Well I’m gonna abuse his kindness just for today. I’ll just tell him that without asking him if it’s ok, besides that isn’t my only problem.” He paused. “How will I tell the guests about the paint?”
“It isn’t your problem anymore. Come on”
It was already midnight and apparently it would be dangerous for a person to go out alone. But there was a beautiful and brave man who was walking alone in the street heading to a certain place-the museum. He went where the manager told him to go for the keys and unlocked the door.
Meanwhile, Kota is good in opening doors using his earrings. So apparently that is what he uses to get inside the secured museum. It isn’t hard but it’s taking him a long hour just to open the big door of the museum. When he has opened the door, he quickly runs to the middle of the museum where the painting is located. He wants to finish his evil mission so there won’t be any hindrances in his dreams for this mission is the key for his freedom. He didn’t give time to himself to look at the picture or the painter’s information for in his mind was the reward for this mission.
When he had removed it, he heard a familiar voice that shouted, “Don’t!”
Kota concentrated on his mission not on the familiarity of the voice but the painter stanchly blocked Kota’s way out. It was very dark inside and the painter didn’t know where the switch of the light was.
The only thing that he could perceive was the glitter of the thief’s necklace.
“Put it down!” the painter commanded.
Kota laid the painting on the floor and ran to the painter. As a defense, the painter fought with Kota through his skills in karate. They both didn’t know whom they were fighting with but the important for them was to get the paint.
Since both of them knew karate, it wasn’t yet obvious who was leading the fight. But as they fight voice of promise echoed in their head. To Kota, “I’ll let your relationship with that person known…” and “What if someone saw me? Or stopped me?” “Then kill him!”
To the painter, “You’ll know it someday. That’s what I’m gonna give you next.”
Those sentences motivated them to fight harder against the enemy but only one succeeded. Kota wanted to finish this fight just as how much he wanted to be with Kei so he quickly grabbed the knife that he hid in his coat and stabbed it to the painter’s stomach. Stabbing it directly at the painter’s stomach was by accident but the thought of killing the painter wasn’t an accident.
The painter’s eyes grew wider as he bent his body and slowly fell on the floor. His blood went out like a river from his belly and mouth as he lied down bloodily on the floor. His arms went weakly at his side as his cap was removed from his head revealing his pale but still beautiful face. Kota picked the paint but he twisted his body to look at the painter when the he groaned harder. And when he looked back at the painter, he dropped the paint that he was holding causing the cover of the paint to be torn revealing the beautiful painting.
“K-K-Kei?” Kota said shakily as his tears started running down his cheeks. He went beside Kei and carried his body to check if it really was Kei whom he just killed.
The light of the moon shone on Kei’s face which became the confirmation to Kota’s question. “Kei I…I didn’t know it was you, wake up Kei, I love you, please wake up!!” Kota shouted as he tried to shake Kei’s body.
Kei tried to open his eyes despite the fact that he was about to die. He could no longer decipher who the person was for his visions were now blurred, but the only thing that he could see clearly was the necklace that he and Kota have. He used all his force to reach for the pendant and smiled.
HE PAINFULLY SMILED. “K…KO…KOU-CHAN…I…am glad t…to see y…you here.” He tried to say. He touched Kota’s face and caressed his cheeks sweetly.
“Kei I am so sorry, please fight Kei, don’t talk, I’ll send you to the hospital. Fight Kei, fight for me please…” Kota begged. He hugged Kei’s head and cried to the hardest. He didn’t know what to do, he was shaking. "Please fight for me..i'll explain everything..."
“K…Kota, I...L…OVE…YOU…” Kei said with a smile although his eyes were already closed because of the pain physically and emotionally.
Kei continued, “that painting, I made it. That’s for you.” And now hearing Kei said this made Kota cry even more. The paint that he tried to steal was originally for him. “I came here to get it because I want to give it to you; I don’t want to sell it because that’s for you.” Kei stopped when he felt pain in his belly. “I wanted to tell you something but I guess I wouldn’t be able so I’ll just show you something.”
Kei closed his eyes painfully and he did all his best to raise his hand to show Kota that he was also wearing the same ring that Kota was wearing.
Kota’s eyes widened in shock and terror. “That ring…” Kota said, surprised. “It’s you Kei… you are my missing childhood friend…”
Kei smiled. “That painting is for you Kota, there’s a note at the back. I love you Kota and I will always love you even up to the second life…”
Kota hugged Kei. He was being filled with mix emotions; sadness, anger, love, guilt, joy, etc. “I love you KEI; I’ll send you to the hospital, hold on ok?”Kota said but his heart skipped a beat when he saw Kei’s eyes were closed.”KEI!!!”
HOSPITAL...
While Kei was being operated inside the operating room, Kota was outside looking at the painting that Kei painted. The background was black, there were two kids standing. On the right, the kid was happily holding a bunch of roses while the kid on the left was looking and smiling at the kid on the right while his hands were hidden at his back filled with blood on his palms.
It remembered him of their past and as he remembered it he was crying…

FLASHBACK
“Kei, I have something for you!” chibi Kota said hiding his hands at his back.
“What is it?” Kei asked with a smile. Just then, Kota let out his hands revealing a bunch of roses.
“Kyaa~~ are these roses for me?”
Kota nodded with a wide smile.
Kei quickly accepted it. After a minute of looking and smelling the roses he noticed something. “Eh, my hands do not hurt, where are the thorns?” Kei wondered out loud.
Kota who was honest showed his hands. Kei was shocked to see Kota’s hand covered with blood. “I already removed it. I’ll let my own hands bleed than to see yours bleed.” kota remarked.
Kei blushed and felt guilty for a while. “I also have something for you.” Kei picked something from his pocket. “Here! Since we’re done with the design, I asked dad to make two for us.” He gave the ring to Kota by putting it in Kota’s middle finger while Kota did the same thing to Kei.
And both of them shared the same meaningful smiles.

Remembering the past made Kota cry; he didn’t know that the reason why Kei often looked at his ring was because he knew it all along. Kota was clueless that Kei was his childhood friend and that he could now paint again. He looked at Kei’s letter again that was hidden at the back of the paint for many times. And the letter says:
Kota, Kou-Chan, Koppi,
See? I don’t even know what name I should call you. Now you already know that I am your missing friend, can we stay as we are as of now? You know I love you and I know you also feel the same way. I’d like to apologize if I didn’t tell you that I could now paint. You know what? I started painting again since the day you confessed. Kota, you are the reason why I can paint again and now I know what my talent really is and that’s to paint. I’ve read that the bridge or the reason why you regain your talent is very important to you and I know that’s true because it’s you. Hey that rhymed! Ha-ha anyway thanks for everything. I Love you.
Love lots,
Inoo Kei (doki <3)
After reading it again the doctor who held Kei’s operation went out from the room.
“Doc, what happened?” Kota eagerly asked.
“If you want to know his condition now, I allow you to check him.” The doctor answered and walked away.
Kota walked to the window. And there, right in front of him was a man covered by a clean and white blanket.
“K…Kei…” Kota said and collapsed from where he was standing.
