I Love You
I love you,
More than I can say
I get excited, just seeing your face
Recently I’m moving, at a fast pace
You’re in my mind, a million times a day.
I love you,
But you’re indecent timing
Has thrown my off often
Thinking of you makes my heart soften
While I write, my poems rhyming
I love you,
However, your visits have gotten inconvenient
And its not just my imagination
To feel like this in the given situation
We had a lot of fun and I’ll never forget it.
I love you,
I wish you would have stayed
But for reasons I’m not sure of
You decided to spend eternity above
So please don’t take this the wrong way
I love you,
I hope that you knew
But I’m still alive here
You’re death was hard to bear
I can’t spend my time here, thinking of you.
Undying Love
A vow said,
Is a promise made,
Of a love you give,
That should never fade.
As the years pass,
You only grow closer,
Well, maybe not only,
You probably grow older.
But my question is,
Can a love be undying?
Even after 50 years
And not one day of lying.
Is it really love,
The true emotion,
Or fear of breaking away,
From your life’s devotion.
It must be undying,
If the love is still true,
If his heart skips a beat,
Wherever he looks at you.
But when it happens,
And you can’t stop the flow of tears.
What happens to the emotion,
That you had for 50 years.
Does it just get stronger?
A bond never broken.
Or do you eventually heal
And hold live like a golden token.
The love must be real
If the wedding ring is still tying
You to a man, who’s no longer here
I guess love can be undying.
