YES! My favorite literary character since I discovered Mr. Darcy in high school. Could he be more complex?! ;) I adore JK Rowling for giving me this gift to unwrap through all 7 books, and for Alan Rickman's incomparable performances through the films. He's simply brilliant. Every look, every smirk, every last word delivered with so much emotional subtext. How he had to balance protecting Harry and resenting him at the same time. How he had to take all the ridicule and hatred slung his way while secretly doing something more noble than anyone else. It destroys me every time. *sobs*

In which fic did you mention AR? I can't believe I didn't know your work before I found "Rhythm"! Just yesterday, my friend, Kate, gave me the link to "My Deathbed". I'm loving it so much. Where have you been all my (LuRe) life?! LOL Did you post over at LRO much? I didn't come around to LJ until I got into QAF back in December.

No, I haven't posted much over at LRO...I used to at the beginning, but it got to be too much jumping around, and I like the setup here. I do, however, sometimes go over there to read fics.

Reid mentioned Alan Rickman as a celebrity crush in one of my fics. (yeah, that's me projecting...lol...) I'm not much of a HP fan, but I do love AR.

I don't remember the name of the fic...it was a one shot. I'll find it...hold, please...

I love this story so much. Somehow I missed the last chapter being posted so it was nice to have two chapters to read today. I'm very much NOT a Twilight fan but I can just picture what Reid's face would have looked like at her "sparkly vampire" comment...so I love that reference.

This icon is likely how Luke sees Reid. I think Reid has that "sparkly vampire in the sun" look about him...without actually sparkling...or being a vampire.
