Spider-Man's a dick

I've been working at Blockbuster for the past couple of weeks pretty constantly. Next week I have some time off, so hopefully I can see some people I haven't seen in a while.

Saw Hot Fuzz with Alisa on Thursday. Man, why is it the British rock the comedy boat so much compared to other parts of the globe?

Spider-Man 3 last night. A lot of reviews are coming in about how it was subpar, but I had a fucking blast. My only expectation of that film was that Venom would show up, fuck stuff up, then leave. Check, check, and check. While the movie was pretty flawed, it had so many good parts to make up for it.

1. Bruce Campbell
2. Tony Hawk Xtreme Green Goblin was kind of lame, but James Franco was a smarmy bastard throughout, and that's all that matters.
3. Spider-Man is a dick
4. Peter Parker's idea of cool is emo hair and a popped collar.
5. Eric Foreman pulled off Venom pretty decently.

So yeah, good movie overall. Supporting cast's acting is top notch, but Tobey Maguire is still...Tobey Maguire.
