Unfortunately yes, yes I was. For about 4 hours I sat inside Merchants Tire & Auto of Cary. Got another (yeah... another) new tire for my car today. Then had my tires rotated. The kicker is that a couple of hours ago I found out that I had a screw embedded in my front passenger side tire. Had to get out the jack and switch it with the spare tire. The problem being that I could only get three of the lugnuts off the tire because they had just recently been tightened with an air charged wrench. Called good ole AAA and they bailed me out. Now gotta go spend more money to get the tire patched. I bet Merchants is just loving my business by now.
There was a lady there who was taking classes as a landscape designer and was doing some drawings while waiting. Real good stuff and made me want to fire up AutoCAD for some reason. Still thinking about going over to architecture when I transfer to State.
That was the extent of my day really, getting to deal with tires. I feel unproductive so I'm going to go find some place to do some homework or something entertaining. Got to play cards with my sister for a while which was fun, even though the dog kept jumping up and walking all over the deck. He then proceeded to take a nap on them. Got a picture, it's amusing. :)
So apparently my final is on this Monday even though classes go 'til the 11th. I guess it'll be good to get over with. Then I've got "free reign" over the rest of the month until school starts.
