Just catching up with everyone!
Hi all!!!
Here we are, going into the most busy time of the year, so I thought Id better try and jump in here today, because God knows, I might not be able to for awhile! lol! It seems like its been so long since Ive even been to my lj! Lots and lots of pet sitting, and that is ALWAYS a welcome thing! Sure can use the exra money I make from it! Well that, and just alot going on taking Terry to follow up dr appointments. He is doing well, and all the good wishes have been so appreciated by us both!
I got to do something this weekend that was just awesome! Im a CSI fan, big time, and Gary Sinise, who is of course, in CSI NY, has a band called the Lt Dan Band that travels around to USO events and charities for Operation Iraq Children. They were in Kansas City Friday night, and I got to go to the concert and the party afterwards. omg!!! Can I say that this was an evening I'll not soon forget!!! Im still floating about ten feet off the ground! Me and the 3 gals I was with, were right AT the stage probably about oh, 8 or 9 feet away from him for the majority of the concert! It was pretty unbelievable, and his band is just the best! If they are ever in your town, do go!!! It supports a great organization, and you will see one heck of a show! We got to talk to him at the party, and he gave me a hug that I simply will never forget! omg, I can still feel it! lol!!! Oh, and did I mention, I had a wonderful time at this concert??? lol!!!
Im getting ready to go out of town this week. On Wed we, along with a handful of friends, are going to Branson Missouri for about 5 days. I simply cant wait to get down there. Its a very fun place to be in the Christmas season. Silver Dollar City is very spectacular during the holidays, and I just cant wait! So, I not going to be around much...gee....as if thats a shock! We come back just in time for Thanksgiving! So I will wish you all a very wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!
