whoa there nelly
Today has been a weird one. It's odd how emotions of this place closing come and go, but when they arrive, they hit pretty hard. But then someone, somewhere, will do or say something to snap me back into my happy place again and it all feels like it's going to be OK.
Two things happened this afternoon that made me laugh straight out loud.
One: The religious nut on the corner was wearing one of those sandwich board things that said something about sinning and Jesus saving the day or whatever. So I'm watching him out of the corner of my eye, making sure he's not going to call me a 'whore' again and what happens? Some dude on a bike crashes into him, sends the pamphlets and sandwich board a-flying and what does everyone get an eyeful of? HIS OZZY OSBOURNE T-SHIRT. Yep. Made me chuckle a little. Poser.
Two: A very large, very sweaty man in a very small black t-shirt that reads: "GET LUCKY TONIGHT". So much love.
And normally, I do not share a lot of pictures of myself, but these were just sent to me and they made me smile. This was two weeks ago, when my friend Robyn was in town, and we shared a very fun, very drunk night out at The B Lounge.
