i need a new ringtone
The one on my cellphone is SO not supercool and frankly, I don't like it one bit. So I must find something suitable for a semi-rockstar such as myself.

Anyway! Yesterday was the great St. Patrick's Day parade here in Syracuse. Tie that in with the Big East Championship basketball game and you have yourself a damn festival in the streets, kids. MAYHEM, if you will. But I made it out in one piece. I survived the day long party and only have green fingernails left to prove it. And NO HANGOVER. FANTASTIC.
HOWEVER....don't be scared....
I was interviewed on the local news. Oh me, oh my. I guess their requirements for being interviewed must have been: tall, doesn't look inebriated, and can speak full sentences? Because WHY in the world would you ask me to be on the news?! People are damn crazy.
But yeah, I am totally a local celebrity now. I went to breakfast this morning and someone recognized me. Yep. I had to autograph a napkin with my lipstick for I had no pen to use, but boy was it a moment. And then the local stalkerazzi was outside just snapping away at me and my man, but hey! This is the life I chose. Such a proud day.
I also received a marriage proposal. Mind you, it was from a father/son team that had a combined total of seven teeth between them and they could barely stand in their fake irish knickers...BUT THEY ASKED. And apparently Pa has "pleasured women since the second world war". I mean, how can you NOT fall in love with that sentiment?
Although my bartender "friend" did not appreciate them very much. Besides the fact that he'd been working with a bunch of drunks since 10 AM and had no sleep and was bitter and angry at the world, he was JEALOUS. AHHHAHAHAHA. He was so jealous, he had to sweep me off my feet, the damn thug.
And the handcuff belt is a HIT.
PS. Thanks to the great birthday icon hunt of 2005, I have some icons. Here is one which doesn't represent me AT ALL *wink, wink*, but I thought I'd use it. (Granted, it should probably say "Panties *gags*, Grannies, Commando, but whateva.)
