(no subject)
Thank you to everyone who's been sending prayers and good thoughts our way. I don't have an update because there are no updates to give. Things are still essentially what they were when I last posted, and while there's some hope to be found in stasis, this isn't a particularly good stasis. Things have to change; I'm just crossing my fingers and offering up my prayers that they change for the better, and soon!
I went to an audition tonight - my first in about five years! It's for a comedic musical called "Nunsense" where (you guessed it) the main characters are 5 nuns trying to raise money to bury 37 recently-deceased sisters. Thus, a variety show! I think I did well on the vocal audition, but I bombed the dance (even though I finally had most of the moves down), and then did fair on the cold readings. I was asked to stay behind to sing harmony because the music director had never worked with me before, and I think I do so-so with that. So we'll see!
I'm currently attempting to get my planning together for tomorrow while simultaneously talking to two guys, one of which is vaguely creepy and not someone that I'm particularly happy with being in a conversation with. But I guess that's what I get for signing up for a dating site O_O
Oh, yeah, and I'll be 24 tomorrow!!
