World Nutella Day Preparations

So! Not only is tomorrow Superbowl Sunday here in the US, but it's also (apparently) World Nutella Day! In honor of this remarkable occasion and because we're getting together with family tomorrow, I'm planning on making Nutella-Peanut Butter Brownies!!

( Recipe under the cut. Untested by me, but supposedly delicious! )

It's probably a good thing I don't have sugar or cocoa powder in my own pantry, or else I'd probably be making these daily. ;)

Happy World Nutella Day! I won't be seeing the Super Bowl, but I can celebrate this, at least. ;)

But Meeeeeeeegggg, you KNOW I'm evil! I wish I could send you some, but I'm pretty sure customs wouldn't appreciate the gesture. At least have yourself a tasty Nutella sammich! Or... you could try the Nutella french toast recipe I found at http://lifelovechemistry.blogspot.com/2010/01/nutella-stuffed-french-toast.html!!

I have never tried Nutella, what exactly does it taste like?

Mmmmm, it's hard to explain! It's a hazelnut spread (like peanut butter, but with hazelnuts instead of peanuts) and a dash of cocoa. Very decadent, and super delicious! They sell small jars at my local grocery, and I'd be willing to bet they do at yours. Perhaps you might find some and give it a try!

World Nutella Day? How did I miss this? Bless you, woman, for enlightening me.

Nutella is my number one all-time comfort food. Childhood joy in a jar. I do not buy it anymore because I cannot keep the jar for more than 2 days. Lunch? Nutella on a knife.

Now I know how to put in into brownies.

I'm hooked on Nutella now! I never had it around when I was younger, but now I just want to nomnomnom it all the time! I've made a tradition of having a piece of whole wheat toast smeared with hazelnut deliciousness every morning before I go to work. It's perfect because it's fast, delicious, and not-so-terribly bad for me - and it gets me actually eating breakfast, which I don't always do!

I just... want to make Nutella brownies all the time now O_O
