Final stretch...
I am so swamped I don't know where to start... Been sewing and rehearsing like crazy cause it's time for my fall tour. Feel so full of myself but hey, it's my second fall tour LOL
This upcoming weekend teaching two workshops ( sagat & melaya) at the Mundo Oriental festival in Germany. Yay to a reunion with Aleksei and my dear Leila Jelena. Then in the end of the month it's Celebrating Dance in the UK! Teaching sagat and Turkish Roman and a reunion with Khalida, Queenie and Artemisia. And will be meeting UK lj folks, how cool is that? And the first weekend of November I am flying to Kazakhstan!!! Will be judging at the Asia Cup and teaching sagat. La-la-la-la-la-la!
Prepared two new sets, Helwa Sabah with sagat plus a slightly modified old sagat solo and a new Turkish Roman set that I performed in Jerusalem theater at a fundraiser for underprivileged kids (no video or pics yet...) And two new costumes to go with the new sets :) A bat shit crazy colors one for the sagat set and a cheeky recycle one for the Roman. Seam ripped a pair of Diesel jeans that were too small for quite a while now, inserted red stripes and blinged the hell out of them! They come with an overblinged red bra ( snatched it from my first Roman costume that I am not going to wear anymore anyway) and a white shirt tied under the bra. That's it for now. Not showing the new bedlah cause I think it deserves the whole hair/lashes shebang :))))
