Kanda has an Equipment-type Innocence…which means without actually having his sword Mugen there, he can’t activate it or use any of its abilities. And I haven’t ever been in a psych ward, but somehow I REALLY doubt they let the crazy people have swords. So he is SOL there.
Point of Interest #1: NO MUGEN FOR KANDA.
Since he's not a normal human and his body was engineered by scientists to be much stronger and more durable than usual, in his canon Kanda has super-strength and super-speed. At Landel's, while he is still pretty fast and considerably stronger than he looks, it's nothing above the peak capacity of regular humans.
Point of Interest #2: STRENGTH & SPEED = SEMI-NERFED.
Healing. Kanda heals ridiculously fast--minor cuts and scrapes generally vanishing in minutes, severe wounds taking up to three days (when he heals slowly). He can regenerate lost limbs, is highly resistant to poisons, and has a sort of auto self-rez ability that typically kicks in 580 seconds after he dies.
Point of Interest #3: Minor wounds heal like normal; major wounds take ≈ three days & make him feel weak and sluggish while he heals; still has auto self-rez, but instead of 580 seconds, he doesn't revive until the next morning.
Kanda is also an ace martial artist and swordsman; as they are the result of long hours of training, these abilities will not be affected by Landel's ...except for the obvs. fact that he doesn't HAVE a sword ATM. |D But he will still kick your ass (or try to) with his TAE KWONRATE-FU.
