1st Audition Update

Sweet! That was like a good swift kick to the nuts! Ahhh, how refreshing! I forgot how fun it is to go and pretend you care about some product in front of smugly condescending casting directors! Dude's like, 'would you talk like that with your buddies in a bar? You don't need 'announcer' voice, you're not selling anything'. And I'm like 'I wouldn't be talking to my buddies about how product x can transform their lives in six to eight weeks'. Anyway, it's just the game man, and I don't have to play it if I don't want to. I told myself the first time I quit all the auditioning and stuff that if I ever went back to it, I would do a reading exactly like I wanted to, even if it wasn't what was called for. If I wanted to mock it, or make a serious piece, humorous, I'd do it. So I did it. Hoorah.

I can't fake sicerity so I guess I don't have it made.
