Home again, whew! 6 days away from home, 2 work days last week, then a fun weekend with friends in another city, then 2 work days and home at last, just in time to get to the local pub for $2 beer night and half price food (before 6 pm). Yay!

Sorting through the mail, I came upon this classy little invitation: "Be our guest at the grand opening of the latest Siematic showroom on Wednesday for fabulous hors d'oeuvres and a Washington state wine tasting." Hmm, sounds interesting: free food and drink is always good. But then, on the next page, I see this little blurb: "A Generation of successful American Entrepreneurs dreamt of a new style of Architecture to express their personal wealth." [sic] Never mind......

We're going to try another declarative statement: Tomorrow we will tell our employers that we will be leaving for Germany around June 12, for K to start work at his new job on June 16.

I see that I used colons 4 times in the previous 2 paragraphs. Does this have anything to do with the flexible sigmoidoscopy from last week?
