Néstor Kirchner
25/2/1950 - 27/10/2010

Our former President died today. Charismatic leader, active to his last day, he leaves a huge gap in our political life: he was not only a strong political figure, he was also Secretary of the Union of Southamerican Countries and, (perhaps the most important) husband of our current President, Cristina Fernández.
I liked his spirits, his character and his bravery - despite disagreeing with some of his decissions. And he pulled us out of the biggest crisis we endured in the past decade.
He fought fiercely for a free economy for Argentina, and for peace amongst our brother countries of the South. He dedicated his life to the people.

Gracias, Néstor. Buen viaje.
