Medicinal

Couldn't get to sleep until 4:30AM again, dunno what the hell is wrong with me. I went to bed at like midnight or something, rolled around for half an hour, couldn't even close my eyes letalone get to sleep. Decided to jump on the computer for a bit and read to try and tire my eyes, that didn't work, so I put on an episode of Bones and got into bed. 45 minutes later the episode was over and I was still wide awake. Turned off the TV and tried sleeping again, but all I could hear was the sound of my own heartbeat against the pillow. My heart was racing and my adrenaline was high, and I just frustratingly rolled around for another few hours trying to get to sleep. Last time I checked my phone was like 4:15 and I fell asleep soon after that.

Oddly enough, I woke up naturally at 7:30, and my immediate instinct was that I'd somehow slept through all of my alarms, as I felt really healthy and rested. But nope... my alarm wasn't due to go off for another 15 minutes. Tripppppppppin'.

So annoying, I dunno why I'm having so much trouble sleeping lately.
I'm off to Melbourne in a few hours and I'm completely unprepared for my day of delivering presentations tomorrow. As always I'll just wing it and things will probably go smoothly.

All the buses from Indooroopilly were running late this morning, so I ended up getting crammed on a bus overflowing with people. I stood in the aisle in the back half of the bus, which was actually really fun since it's much higher than ground level, so it gives this weird sensation when the bus is turning at an intersection. I'm such a child, haha.

Anywho, we arrived at Toowong and there was like 4 people in front of me getting ready to exit via the rear door, and another dozen or so from the front half of the bus trying to do the same thing. For some reason the complete jackass behind me decided that I was completely oblivious to the line of people behind me who wanted to exit the bus, and instead of asking, or saying "excuse me" or y'know... being a normal human being, he just insisted on barging into my shoulder repeatedly until he managed to knock me off balance and almost fall on top of the poor people in front of me. Retard much? What if he'd actually managed to get past me, then what? Just keep barging through people until you're the first person off the bus?

I swear some people lose 90% of their brain capacity as soon as they step on board public transport.

Bleh. Cranky. Wanna go home and sleep. Stupid Melbourne.

Oh and I'm pretty certain that girl might have found someone better or something, 'cos her behaviour towards me has suddenly changed completely, haha. I can tell these things.

Oh well.

work, melbourne, bus, idiots, stupid body, zzzzz
