One day recently at work a gentleman came in and asked for Will. We had to sadly inform him that Will no worked at the store (he quit) and the man looked rather disappointed. He was carrying a very old iBook (colorful clamshell, oh yea) and said his wife would be upset if he brought it back home seeing as it was just taking up space. So I offered to take it because I think it's about the coolest looking damn computer ever.

I happened to take this computer home to the person most apt to help it. Eric had a power adapter that would work for it because he had an old Powerbook himself. So we plugged it in and it turned on, but had the folder with a question mark. This is usually a sign of a bad harddrive, especially in a computer so old. But Eric is the most awesome person ever and he felt the determination to see if it'd work like myself.

He found an old OS 9 disc for it and low and behold it simply didn't have an OS installed at the time! He got it working and added some old apps and even an airport card so I could go online with it.

Now I've written this lj entry on a computer that is incredibly old. I LOVE this thing. It's the perfect word processing machine. And while the internet is very hard for it, it can do simple websites with enough patience. So yea, writing this entry from a clamshell iBook, abooya. Viva la blueberry!
