cyborgs and dimesional rifts
Well, I'm back home... Feels a bit odd.
The last two years I've been away, it feels to me like Cardiff and North Wales exist in two separate dimensions. Whenever I was in one place, the other just seemed to stop, like I had never left. Now I'm back home I feel like there's loads of stuff going on in Cardiff.
Ah well, I suppose that's life.
On a brighter note, I got my application sent off for "tonight's the night "alien talent search. It looks really cool. Basically, I had to design a costume (Steam punk cyborg) and if I'm one of the 50 that get shortlisted, I have a chance to be in a mini episode of Doctor Who (Massive Win!). I don't know if I'll get through, but I'd like to stay optimistic. If I do, I think it'll be a lot of fun. Plus I'll get to go to London to "wow the panel." I really should have a proper trip to London some time in the future. The last time I was there, it was for an interview and I wasted most of the time waiting at the Institute of Medical research because It hadn't taken me as long as I thought to get there.
At the moment, all seems right with the world so I'll sign off before anything changes my feelings of complacency.
