I can't believe how damn annoying it is to try to fix your own computer problems. Something is up with my old desktops CD/DVD drive, I can't get it to work anymore...I noticed the problem about 6months ago but just sorta ignored it...but now I actually do need to install some new stuff on it and now I've gotta try to fix it myself. I'm afraid that somehow some of that information that is important to the CD/DVD drive and it's workings got deleted *don't ask me how* and that's what's causing it's currently problem. Or it could be some random plug unhooked *if only it was that easy*, which I don't believe is the case. And you know what reinstalling stuff sounds great...but when it comes on a CD and that part of my computer is currently not working, well good job on that help and support center. I fear at some point I might be on the phone for several hours trying to get this fixed...sigh.
But having to troubleshoot it is a pain in the butt and currently not really working, I'm hoping one of these thousand things I do to it will fix it. And I really needed to rant about having to try to fix this.
Plus we just got a new printer and while I figured it out mostly ok...for the life of me currently I can't figure out how to get it's wireless function working the instructions are shit for figuring it out. Just plug it in and it'll work, doesn't exactly do it for me!
Sorry for my rantings...computers are not my friends today.
