I'm in Wales!!
Well it's about 8:30am here...making it bout 3:30am for you guys. Wales is quite beautiful and very quaint. So far we've had a tour of the campus and town...very hilly. Man all this walking is gonna get me in shape, that and I don't have food. So yea, countryside is beautiful, you can see all the mountains in the distance...though they are small mountains, nothing as big as we have. And the parts of the school are very pretty and old. I have to go shopping today, so hopefully I'll be able to go around and take a good few pics to post.
Dorm room is small but nice for one person, bathroom tiny...shower tinier;, stand up straight turn left, turn right that's around how much room you have. And the walls are very white w/prison green doors. Oddly no common room in the dorms though I think other buildings have them...no tv, so yea right now w/no one but us here sorta boring; probably when more people get here it'll be better. On the 3rd floor which is technically the 4th, b/c they have a ground floor then a 1st floor...oh boy more stairs after the hills. And I believe the biology buildings are at the 'bottom' of the campus that means I have to go all the way down...damn. It's gonna take me forever to get to class. On the plus side, the computer lab and laundry room is right across from our dorm. Still empty b/c most students don't get in till a week or so later, and most things a lot of the campus places around here are still closed, very much a college town...im sure a lot more places will come to life when people start arriving.
Going on tour tomorrow from the 10 thru 15th, around Ireland...so don't know if i'll be online at all during that time...I don't know where we are staying or what the accommodations will be like. I can't wait do go touring!
Oh and I need some major help!!! It seems that a lot of websites that have online videos don't like to work over here...seems that some of them are only US compatible; I didn't know this would happen over here. Though I don't know what is different over here so that they don't work. That means..yes, I'm gonna miss PB and probably Lost too. So if anyone knows how to get around this, or if I could bit torrent and be able to get my shows that way?? Like any suggestions please!! I don't have a freaking tv and this dorm doesn't have a common room so my computer is currently my only source of entertainment currently and if I can't get my shows I might freak a little due to lack of things to do. Where I should go to bit torrent if that's what I need, b/c I don't really know what to look for or do??!
I'm sure I'll have plenty to do over here and whatnot, but I still want to be able to relax and watch my tv on the computer. Anyway this entry is very long for me, but yea. I don't think I have realized yet that I'm gonna be here for 3 1/2 months...it just feels like a vacation, maybe once classes start.
Well ok that's it! I'll try to have pics up within the next few days or so, but I make no guarantees. And if any one has suggestions for the computer/tv problem please, please, please tell me!!
And oh yea...I have boys at my school! Co-ed dorms...weird!
