It isn't just patrols that need to be organized, but the healers as well. Definitely not over the network--we've all seen what happens when we do things that way--but none of them are all in one place, so sending all the bite victims to one location doesn't seem to be a sensible idea.

What I'd propose is that each healer makes known his or her residence to the citizens--again, not over the network--and that area will be that healer's "territory". He or she will cover the bite victims in their territory. That way, anyone who is bitten knows the nearest place to go, and no one healer gets overwhelmed with too many demands. Hopefully.

Healers, it's ultimately up to you whether or not you choose to offer your power. It's a lot to ask of you; I'm sure by now you're all aware of the potential risks involved. But as others have pointed out, the most immediate threat to us is the parasite crabs and their infections. Eradicating all the crabs may well be impossible, but you have the power to eradicate the infections and make sure nothing like this ever happens again, and I hope you'll choose to use it.

Harry, you'll let me know if there's any way I can help your efforts?

calling all heroes, i'd rather deal with your problems
