Granted, but that doesn't explain anything to us other than you can keep good count on crabs.

Most of the crabs that inhabited the city came from her first appearance. They were everywhere almost instantly when she first appeared. I'm postive their numbers didn't grow that much before now. Before she either came back to life, or a new one appeared with more crabs.

Central Park, sir. Right out north of it. While I saw first-hand that there are plenty of those monsters to make up for the lost Manhattan populace, I'm still not buying into this "monster clone" deal.
