Update #2 & 3

As promised, here are the Yoruichi icons, and the Isshin icons. I have a few more updates to go. I still have to make quincy boy and Hitsugaya icons. Not to mention the creepy 12th division captain. (SoDanielle, you better be happy! Now you owe me that fic!)

Simple is best. Elaborate icons are nice, but since I'm not as goos with PS to whip on out like that, I use the simple techniques I know to make icons. Although, textures and tiny text do rule. Thanks for the comment!

Yep, I agree about wisely used textures and tiny texts, but sometimes, after useing a bunch of filters, people leave almost nothing from the original pic.
I do love icons with text, but I prefer when it means something or just funny, and not when it's like written *insert random word or name here* twenty times all over the icon with different fonts, in different colors...
Duh. If there is a face on the icon, then it has to be opened. If you want to put a lot of text on the icon - then no special pics on it.

Hell, I'm always open to comments and feedback on my icons. I still consider myself a novice compared to so many iconist out there; comments on things like this help me for future designing.

I love bases, which is why I often make so many. I find that many expressions are just awesome on their own. some text or something to make it look good is fine, but otherwise, the face is awesome for a reason.I always find it a hassle trying to figure out what word goes best on an icon, and were it should go. If you have to worry so much about that, then its obvious text doesn't belong in it.

Tho my livejournal is mostly in Russian language, however, there are some crappy English posts.

Weet! Bleach pics always rock. If only you could see my SoiFon folder. And it may be in Russian, but I can still....look at it. And comment on the Bleach posts. Bleach is universal.
