*cries* This is so terribly sad! Poor Charles! Elsie's dead and he doesn't remember, he just remembers the good times. :( I wanna cuddle him now. As for Bates, I so adore him for letting Charles think everything's alright. Such a kind soul.

I know! I was trying to think of a way for Carson to just let out his and Elsie's 'secret', and I figured that he would never let things slip unless he had mild dementia! Poor thing! At least we can be rest assured that Bates and the rest of the family are looking after him. :)

Still it's so sad to think of him without Elsie. :( I choose to believe her ghostly self is always around him, keeping him company and reminding him to turn on the light not to strain his eyes when reading.
