Yay
Well, we bought a car!
It's a 1995 chevy caprice for only 1,500. It had quite a bit of interior dammage, but nothing a little armorall, windex and a shop-vac can't fix. All the stains have come out and we're going to get some seat covers as the front seats are a bit shabby looking. While we were cleaning it out this morning we discovered that the cd player works and Monty has some speakers we plan on putting in as soon as we get an amp. I pulled off all but one of the crappy decals, (we're leaving the "Police Suppoter" decal on for obvious reason) and wiped off every thing I could. We've got an air freshener in it because of the oil smell it came with. Otherwise all is good. It's a V8 so it's going to guzzle gas, but Monty couldn't be more happy with it. He's always talked about how much he likes this kind of car. Over the next 6 months or so, after we get it paid off, we're hoping to get another one for me.
Tomorrow I have made an appointment to go look at the apartment we're hoping to get. And Monty is going to get Tuesday off so hopefully we can move in.
