A
blog entry from a Columbia grad student studying at the American University of Beirut, and a
FOX interview of Steve Forbes. It's no surprise that the contents of each would directly contradict each other, but I've never found articles from opposing viewpoints that contradict each other so blatantly before.
It's interesting, browsing through the FOX website. I've never been there before today. There were a lot of moments that were like, "How very like a Conservative Republican." Things like the news piece on the immigration debate about the Oregon firefighter who got demoted for not speaking Spanish, and an article about how religious organizations are withdrawing their support for Amnesty International because it has plans of making it easier for women to get abortions. I can keep on going, "LOL, right-wingers are so funny," and all that, but what it comes down to is that it's a good idea for left-wingers to watch FOX -- it makes it easier to see the bullshit. That is to say, one could go so far as to say that watching only CNN and BBC keeps the brain as stagnant as watching only FOX.
Okay, the Ring of Fire is on her period or something, and my homesteads are bearing the brunt of it.
This shit needs to stop. Mt. Mayon in the Philippines is spewing shitloads of gunk into the air. I remember going to Nayong Filipino on a class trip and climbing the two-story tall model of Mount Mayon. Nayong Filipino is little this place where Filipino geography and culture is condensed into one park. Me and a bunch of kids, we stood on the 'crater' and waved at the parent chaperones below while they took pictures. LOOK AT HOW MUCH IS COMING OUT. IT'S LIKE GEOLOGICAL DIARRHEA. Also, click on picture 5. May I just say how typically Filipino that is.
Tomorrow, I will be halfway through my stay in France.
