Went to work today at my horrendous job
let me explain
I work for neilsons media research. They do the tv ratings and other fairly large research projects
Well, They do this by calling people all over america over and over in order to get them to do the surveys
Which is easily miscontrued as telemarketing. So, The 800+ people on the phones every day get yelled at, harrassed, and scorned all day long
Which makes for a really shitty job
The pay is good, but the phones are just a horrible experience
ive been doing it for 4 months now, trying my damndest to do the best job i can do. And ive been a really good researcher. But it makes me miserable
Today, The blood mobile arrived. They have my name. I have o negative blood, and im cnv negative. Which means babies need my blood. So, The blood mobile knows me by name. So i donate as often as possible
I donated today. Which makes me awfully woosy. As i stumbled back to my desk, i was stopped by the recruiter for positions within company.
I got the job. The entry level training position. better pay, better hours, and its FUN to do. no more being miserable on the phones. Im in love.

10 didnt care they were told not to smoke after giving blood
because they were too fucking stupid to take head to the label, and let cancer sticks govern their life
10 people vomited all over themselves and passed out in the court yard today
