It's been even longer now. Kal honestly doesn't have the first clue how long he's been whereever he is now, but he's not sure he cares. He feels amazing, like nothing else before. He feels alive.

Kal is also feeling restless. Yeah, it's been awesome killing Eights in new and intersting ways, most of them involving sex in one form or another, but that's starting to get old. Really old.

he's pacing a hallway now, stalking, really, like an animal in a cage who desperately wants out. The walls are taking some major damage from errant punches and kicks.

"Kal, babe. If you wanna tear shit up I've got a perfectly good forest outside," says Eights with a smirk as she comes walking down the recently abused hall. "Not that I particularly care about my walls, but I don't have to repair the trees."

He spins around, grabs her by the throat and slams her up against the wall. Yep. Another hole.

"I'd rther have something that'll fight back. Or try to, anyway." Obviously, this means Eights is out.

"There's nothing down here that could stand a chance against you," she says somewhat hoarsely. (Talking around a chokehold is difficult.)

As though he needed her to tell him that.

"I don't care." Except that he clearly does, because he's beyond frustrated.

Abruptly, he lets her go. "It's not my fault you're all so pathetically fragile."

"Well, if you're that desperate for a scrap we can take it outside and I'll give it my best shot. Wouldn't be the first time I've had a bash-up out in the forest, and it wouldn't be the first time I've gotten my ass kicked, either. And my land goes right to the cliffs, for all your throwing-people-into-walls needs." Eights chuckles.

"Haven't I killed you enough?" He snaps, glaring at her. "It stops being fun when you keep coming back." It's good for the sex, but Kal's just not as interested in that anymore.

"You don't want me demolishing your house, fine. Take me somewhere I can do some damage."

"Yeah, well, that's the problem with Downside. It's full of dead people. Lucky for you, the side door's that way." She points. "Go beat up some rocks and trees and shit."

She doesn't warn him not to wreck the cliffs. It doesn't occur to her. People who can do harm to the geology on that scale are not exactly a dime a dozen.

There is, suddenly, a hand around Eights' arm.

"You're coming with me."

And then they're outside. Kal shoves her off to the side and looks around the landscape appraisingly, trying to decide where to start first.

Eights climbs neatly into the nearest tree. It's as good a vantage point as any.

There's a stretch of forest, of varying sparsity, between the mansion and the cliff. Said cliff rises up impossibly high; it's taller by far than any mountain Earth has ever seen. It's certainly the most prominent feature of the countryside.

There are a few boulders in the vicinity that catch Kal's attention. They're large enough that no one person should be able to move them, let alone lift them.

It does take some measure of effort for Kal to get the first one up. This isn't as easy as breaking human bones, of course, but it's not exactly difficult.

Nor is tossing said boulder into one of the denser parts of the forest. It' sort of like tree bowling. Eights is lucky the one she's in is spared.

There's something about wanton destruction that's oddly entertaining. Eights laughs and scrambles higher in her tree, staring down at the new-made path in the woods.

The next boulder is easier, now that Kal's got the right weight estimation in his head.

This one doesn't go into the forest, however. It's headed straight for that cliff.

:O, says Eights.

CRASH!, says the boulder.

I laugh at your puny boulder, says the cliff.

Well, that's interesting. Not that Kal had been expecting a boulder to take out a cliff, but there should have been something. A little crater, maybe. A dent.

He may actually be smiling about this.

One superleap later, he's at the top. If he has to inflict the damage with his fists, that's just fine with Kal.

"...oh shit," says Eights, watching Kal rise.

When he reaches the halfway point, she winces as a massive bolt of lightning whips down from the crack in the sky. It misses.

"Oh, Kiazhriel, you always were one for theatrics," Eights mutters grumpily.

The moment Kal's feet touch grass at the top of the cliff, there's a sharp boom, and the air shimmers around him, holding him locked in place.

"You should take better care of your guests, Eight-Hour Chainsaw," says a gust of wind that resolves itself abruptly into a woman in a white dress. "You know the rules."

Without any particular fanfare, Eights appears atop the cliff in time to hear this. "He's a bit of a handful, in case you haven't noticed," she responds irritably from inside a similar shimmer to Kal's.
