The Wal, The Ringer, The Christmas, and more

Well, another year and Christmas has come and gone. I honestly do not remember what I did for Christmas last year, it was all a huge blur to me. Maybe it was for the same reason that next year I will be looking back at this year and not remember either, because Christmas really kinda sucks. This year was maybe the worst year ever, possibly. I haven’t decided yet, but here’s the short rundown, enjoy as always.

I didn’t get much of anything that’s not gift cards, there were a few things, but not much. Probably the coolest thing is a Darth Vader cookie jar, I guess the fam is looking forward to me moving out next year because they already have like 20 cookie jars. However, I get the feeling that when I do move into my next house, there won’t be any cookies to put in the jar ever. It is pretty fucking sweet object though.

I also got a picture of my niece and I in a frame. It’s a picture that I forgot that I even took. It was during the summer and I was messing around with my dad’s new digital camera. You will probably see the picture on my myspace soon enough. It’s a pretty cool picture, I like it.

As far as the rest of it goes, only money and like two gift cards. The most disappointing gift of the year would have to go to my entire dad’s side of the family, I got one present. It was from my grandparents on that side and it was inside of a little gift bag about have the size of a DVD case. Inside was two five dollar bills rolled up with gift wrap around them. It made me laugh.

Another disappointing moment was realizing that I was going to spend Christmas day cooped up inside my brother’s house with nobody home and no heat until 5 at night. Luckily Dan was nice enough to give me a ride home, so I wouldn’t have to have the loneliest Christmas ever. However, when I got home I had the loneliest Christmas Eve ever as I spent the night in my house, alone, with only the dog, but hey, at least I had heat.

Christmas night was a very fun, spectacular time though. Bobby, Kim, Venom, and I were planning to go see a movie and Allison decided to join us in our adventure. It was pretty crazy to be hanging out with these people at the same time again, because of all the cups of heat that were drank a couple months back. However, I am very glad to see that we hung out and we all had a good time. That’s one point for the anti-drama team on this night.

We went and saw The Ringer, it wasn’t good. There were some parts that made me chuckle, but for the most part nothing. The only part that had me on the floor laughing was a part that nobody else got except for Venom and I. We were literally laughing for like two minutes straight while Allison and the others were very confused, it was funny.

After the movie, we all went to Walgreen’s to find some damn food! There’s more food at the Wal than I thought there was. While looking through the food section the only thing that looked good to me was Spaghetti-O’s with Meatballs. I haven’t had that in a long ass time so Allison and I got some. It also made us ponder who actually gets the Spaghetti-O’s without the meatballs?

We went back to Venom’s where I cooked up the Spaghetti-O’s with Meatballs and Kim cooked up a shit load of Mac N Cheese. I wish I would have eaten more of that, it was really good. After food time, we all played Venom’s new Shout About TV. The teams were Allison, Bobby, and I otherwise known as Team Rule going up against Kim, Venom, and Richard otherwise known as Team Suck. I think we lost two games and tied one. At least we were a cohesive unit though!

Nothing else to comment about this Christmas weekend. It was pretty stale, except for Christmas night. Maybe it was because I am more looking forward to New Year’s Eve anyway. Which is less than a week away now. Only two days of work this week, on Tuesday and Thursday, the rest I have off. I wish I could hang out the other days, but I’ll be at home and live too far away, which sucks.

Anyways, hope all you dudes and dudettes had a good Christmas. Thank you for reading, I love you all.

Love.
Brian.
